Healthy Lifestyles Gloucestershire new partnership with Gloucestershire Cricket Foundation

Healthy Lifestyles Gloucestershire, in a new partnership with Gloucestershire Cricket Foundation, are launching their first collaborative sessions, starting on Thursday 31st of July for 14 weeks. The sessions are called ‘Fit For The Overs‘ and will run 11:30am to 1:30pm at Cirencester Leisure centre. The sessions are free, but parking at the leisure centre is not, so please ensure people are aware of this.

The sessions will start with some health education, from healthy eating habits to social eating & hydration (each week the session topic will be different). Followed by up to an hour of walking cricket, led by a qualified coach from the Gloucestershire Cricket Foundation.

These sessions are for men aged 50 or over, that have a BMI of over 30, over 28 with co-occurring conditions (e.g. high blood pressure, diabetes or pre-diabetes or a mental health problem), or 27.5 if South Asian, Chinese, Black African or Black-Caribbean ethnicity.
