Proposed Practice Boundary Change

Gloucestershire Integrated Care Board (ICB) has invited all GP practices in Gloucestershire to review their practice boundary and apply if they would like to expand or reduce it. These applications will then be considered in detail in March 2025.

Coleford Medical Practice are considering submitting an application to the ICB to alter our practice boundary, in order to focus on providing care to patients within our county, Gloucestershire. This may involve removing areas with Herefordshire and Monmouthshire postcodes from our practice boundary.

If the proposal is approved, anybody living within the new boundary will be able to register with us. Please be assured that anyone currently living in the green highlighted areas will not have their registration at the practice affected.

Below is a mock-up of the proposed new boundary. We encourage you to review this map to understand the changes being considered. The current boundary is shown in green, and the proposed new boundary is displayed in blue:

We plan to liaise with our Patient Participation Group (PPG) to discuss the proposed changes and gather their insights.

We encourage all patients to share their views using our feedback form. Your feedback will be carefully considered in the final decision-making process.

Thank you for your attention and involvement in this important matter. We look forward to hearing from you.
